Auditing Outsourced Operations

SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION

Organizations are increasingly outsourcing a variety of important business processes to third parties.  In doing so, they need to ensure that a risk management and monitoring program is in place to address business and compliance requirements. 

This session will cover common issues, frameworks for managing outsourcing risks, and approaches for auditing outsourced activities.  The session will also discuss how SAS 70 reports can be used to efficiently address customer requirements, how to analyze a SAS 70 report, and alternatives when a SAS 70 report is not available.
