SESSION OVERVIEW |
This is
a strategic presentation on information security that looks at how
to address the onslaught of regulations focusing on IT practices.
With the
passage of Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, HIPAA, California's SB 1386 and
Financial Privacy Act, the impending FDIC/FRB regulations, and the
"noise" created by DHS's Tom Ridge and Congressman Adam Putnam
(FL) about having public companies report on annual security
audits, the IT landscape has changed far more dramatically in the
last year than at any other time in history with respect to
legislation. What can companies do to stay ahead of diverse
compliance requirements and how should they manage this
efficiently. This talk will address these and other Compliance
Management issues.
